An elegant dwarf Cypress forming a small, conical bush with sprays of fine green foliage that weeps at the tips. Superb specimen for a sunny rock garden, border or container, providing all-season colour, texture and form. Height: 50cm -1m (20 to 39in) in 10 yrs.

Grow Cypress trees in moist, well drained soil. Chamaecyparis prefers a neutral or acid soil but does tolerate chalky soils well. Choose a position in full sun.

Once established, Cypress trees require virtually no maintenance. When grown as a hedge, prune Chamaecyparis at any time between late spring and early autumn, taking care not to prune into older wood.
