This handsome fir makes a wonderful Christmas tree. Holding its strong branches in well-spaced tiers it’s perfect for hanging all your Christmas decs. And unlike the spikey spruce, the soft needles won’t prick small hands so it’s child friendly. Better still, you can put away your hoover! The Nordmann Fir holds on to its dark green, aromatic needles for a very, very long time. A welcome change from the traditional spruce which famously drops its needles as soon as you get it through the door. Abies nordmanniana is the nation’s most popular Christmas tree for good reason and this potted tree is easy to put up and position without the fuss of a stand.

After the festivities are over your Christmas tree doesn’t need to go to waste. An RHS award winning tree, this is a robust and disease resistant conifer, providing a strong feature in the winter garden with its evergreen foliage and attractive long cones. Pop it outside to enjoy its all-season beauty then bring it back inside for Christmas next year!

Each tree is supplied as a 6-year-old tree in a large 7.5 litre pot. Height: approximately 80-100cm (2’6” to 3’3”).

Keep your potted tree in the house for a maximum of 12 days over the Christmas period. Do not remove the tree from its original pot as this will damage the root system. Display your tree in a cool room away from radiators and other heat sources. Keep the compost moist. To avoid over or underwatering, test the compost with your finger for moisture.

After Christmas, place your Christmas tree in a cool, sheltered spot outside. Grow the tree on in a container, applying a general purpose fertiliser in spring and summer. Repot the tree each year using a soil-based compost.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £7.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.
