A deserving holder of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit, Clerodendrum ugandense, or the Oxford and Cambridge bush, certainly holds its own when it comes to striking blue colours. This evergreen shrub will happily grow in a large patio container and provide many months of colour whilst it flowers during the whole of summer and into the autumn too. Best moved to a sheltered position during the colder winter months where it will retain its foliage ready to carry on the following year. Height: 4m (157"). Spread: 2.5m (98").

Clerodendrum is best grown in a large container using a loam based compost, on a sunny patio or well lit conservatory.

Water well during summer and feed well using a balanced fertiliser. Cut back on watering during the winter months. If on a patio, move inside, away from frosts, during the winter.

Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
