Description How to Grow More Info Delivery Reviews
A glamorous hardy perennial for a damp, lightly shaded spot. The blooms of Corydalis flexuosa 'Porcelain Blue are the most extraordinary shade of blue, appearing in spring and again in autumn. The flowers attract pollinating insects, making this a lovely choice for a wildlife area. Finely cut, ferny foliage forms a neat clump that remains above ground throughout the summer - unlike many varieties. Perfect for the front of borders or growing en masse to form attractive ground cover. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

Water Corydalis plants regularly until they are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of chipped bark or well-rotted garden compost to the base of the plant to help retain moisture in the soil during the growing season. Overcrowded clumps of Coryda may be divided in autumn or spring if necessary.
Pot up Corydalis plants into larger pots and grow them on in frost free conditions until they are well grown. Gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into borders and containers. Grow Corydalis in fertile, humus-rich, well drained soil in a sunny position or in dappled shade. Improve soil conditions by adding plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost prior to planting.
