Whether your gardening style is tropical, contemporary or low maintenance, Cordyline ‘Superstar’ will become a firm favourite! This new introduction boasts broad, glossy, strap-like foliage in a deep mahogany red colour – perfect for bringing colour and structure to planting schemes. Cordyline ‘Superstar’ is a strong growing evergreen shrub, and despite its exotic looks, it remains hardy to -8C (17F). Plant it in borders as a colourful focal point, or grow it in metallic patio pots for a modern, architectural display. Height and spread: 2m (6', 6").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Grow Cordylines on fertile, well drained soil. Choose a sheltered position in full sun. Cordylines are particularly well suited to mild coastal locations but do enjoy a fertile soil, so it is well worth incorporating some well rotted manure into the soil when planting.
Feed and water regularly until fully established. Once established, Cordylines need little attention, but will require some winter protection during particularly cold periods. In cold areas it may be preferable to grow Cordylines in large patio containers that can be moved undercover during the coldest months.
