Abundant pink and cream flowers cover Cytisus 'Zeelandia' in late spring and early summer, making this Broom an attractive addition to any garden! This variety of Cytisus is easy to look after and will grow in almost any soil type. Its dark green foliage also makes it a useful backdrop plant once the blooms have faded, ideal for the back of a flower border or amongst other shrubs. Height: 150cm (59"). Spread 150cm (59").

Plant Broom into garden borders in fertile, well drained garden soil, in full sun Cytisus is a very useful shrub, which can also tolerate poor soils, or planting onto sloping ground.

Broom should be trimmed back during May, after plants have flowered. You can also rejuvenate Broom plants over a 3 year period by pruning out a third of the branches each year, again after flowering.
