Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
Highly fragrant daphne collection for long-lasting perfumed blooms in soft pinks and yellow. The collection comprises Daphnes 'Pink Fragrance', 'Royal Crown' and 'Jacqueline Postill' – flowering in succession, they'll provide year-round colour in borders and large patio containers. These glorious hardy shrubs are evergreen (apart from 'Royal Crown' which is deciduous) and so they'll keep most of their glossy foliage over the winter when the garden is usually looking a bit bare. The colourful berries that appear after blooms have faded are an added decorative bonus! Daphne flowers are loaded with nectar so they'll provide a valuable food source for bees and butterflies, making your garden a haven for these and other valuable pollinating insects. Supplied in 13cm pots.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

3 X 9cm Potted Daphne Plants - 1 Of Each Variety (V83120P)

Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, Daphne bushes require only occasional attention. Pruning Daphne is best kept to a minimum, removing only occasional damaged stems and lightly trimming those that spoil the shape of the plant in summer after flowering.
Caution: Irritant to skin and eyes. Toxic if eaten. Grow Daphne shrubs in moist, fertile, well drained soil that is rich in organic matter. Choose a position in sun or semi shade. When growing in containers use a soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Daphne plants resent root disturbance so try to avoid this when transplanting as this may delay plant establishment.
