Wallflowers are always a popular choice for their colourful scented flowers that stay the course from spring through to summer. These spreading plants will knit together to create a bright tapestry of blooms which provide a valuable source of nectar for pollinating insects. Perfect for planting en masses as ground cover in beds and borders, or filling patio pots for a vibrant display. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 30cm (12").

  • Wallflower Duo comprises:
  • Erysimum ‘Pastel Patchwork’ - Colour changing, creamy-yellow blooms that transform through apricot to pale pink.
  • Erysimum ‘Apricot Twist’ - Dark orange flowers create a bold splash of colour.

Pot up wallflower plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting outdoors on free draining soil in full sun. Erysimum plants are tolerant of most neutral or alkaline soils and will even cope well on very poor soils.
Feed and water plants until they are fully established. Trim back wallflowers after flowering to prevent them from becoming leggy.
