Eschscholzia 'Californica Apricot Flambeau'

Where to sow: Outdoors where they are to flower.
Preparation: Prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones.
Sowing: Sow 1.5mm (1/16in) deep, in rows 30cm (12in) apart or scatter seed in beds or borders as a gap filler. Lightly cover the seed.
Growing:When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 15cm (6in) apart. Water regularly until plants are established and especially during dry periods.

Gradually acclimatise eschscholzia plants to outdoor conditions when all risk of frost has passed before planting outdoors in any well drained soil in full sun. Water regularly until plants are fully established. Deadhead faded eschscholzia flowers to prevent them from self seeding.
