Hardy ferns make some of the best foliage plants for their understated elegance and beauty. Highly reliable and very easy to grow, this selection of some of the top-performing evergreen ferns is perfect for creating year-round interest in shady spots, woodland gardens and damp borders. With a range of heights, shades and textures, they make a beautiful collection planted together, but also associate beautifully with other woodland or shade plants such as hostas, hellebores and heuchera. All of these ferns have won RHS Awards of Garden Merit for their outstanding garden performance.

6 Jumbo Plug Plants (1 of each variety) (KF0852)

Plant ferns in a sheltered spot. Choose a cool position semi-shade or dappled shade on fertile, moist, acid or neutral, soil. Hardy ferns prefer a soil that is rich in organic matter so add some well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting.
Feed and water regularly until plants are fully established. Deadhead faded lupin flowers to encourage a second flush of blooms to be produced. Caution: harmful if eaten.

Van Meuwen strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
