Add a tropical touch to your patio with Fuchsia 'Firecracker'! Large green leaves edged in cream have a pink flush, which complements the bright pink-orange blooms that appear from summer to early autumn. Stunning in a pot on its own, this upright bushy fuchsia can also be added to beds and borders for a vibrant summer display. Height and spread: 45cm (18").

Pot up plugs in 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into final containers or baskets. Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise fuchsia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Choose a sunny or semi shaded site for their final position.

Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.

Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
