Low maintenance, vigorous and incredibly long flowering, the Geranium ‘Gerainbow’ series promises superb cascades of colour non-stop from late spring until autumn. Coming in a range of vibrant shades, these trailing ivy-leaf pelargoniums look incredible spilling from window boxes and hanging baskets. The flowers are beautifully offset by glossy deep green ivy-shaped leaves, which are an attractive feature in themselves. The gently tumbling stems of ‘Gerainbow Amethyst’ will become festooned with vivid lilac blooms that are sure to become centre of attention! Trails to: 90cm (36"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Although technically perennial, pelargoniums are only half-hardy and therefore normally treated as annuals in the UK. However, they can also be overwintered in a frost-free greenhouse or conservatory.

Pot up pelargonium plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise trailing geraniums to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final positions

Feed and water plants frequently. Deadhead faded geranium flowers to encourage more spectacular blooms to be produced.
