Hardworking and low-maintenance, hardy geraniums are a staple herbaceous perennial for every garden. Bringing together two reliable, clump-forming Geranium pratense (meadow cranesbill) varieties, this lovely duo is perfect for cottage garden planting schemes. A profusion of ruffled double blooms is produced throughout summer above a mound of attractive divided foliage. Unlike their single-flowered relatives, these double-bloomed varieties do not self-seed, prolonging flowering and making them easier to control.

Geranium Hardy Duo comprises jumbo plug plants of the following varieties:

Geranium pratense ‘Summer Skies’ – Plant swathes of this gorgeous mauve geranium in your cottage garden borders to enjoy dreamy summer skies all summer long! The beautiful double blooms may look delicate, but this hardy herbaceous perennial is tough, reliable and undemanding. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Geranium pratense var. pratense f. albiflorum ‘Laura’ – Long-lasting, weather-resistant and exquisitely elegant pure white double flowers are produced from June onwards on upright, downy stems. The divided leaves quickly create a mound of fresh green foliage that makes excellent groundcover for a cottage garden or perennial border. Height and spread: 60cm (24").

Plant hardy geraniums in any well drained soil, in sun or shade. Water well to settle the soil around the roots.

Water hardy geranium plants regularly throughout summer until fully established. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of hardy geraniums in spring to maintain their vigour.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
