Delivery Information View Product DescriptionLoading...Description How to Grow More Info DeliveryThis is such a pretty flower: small and compact, with a centre of yellow anthers surrounded by a frill of creamy-apricot petals etched with veins of pink and an extra blush of intense rosiness at the edges. Geum ‘Cosmopolitan’ is a new variety of Avens which flowers from late spring into summer, loved by bees and other insects for its sweet nectar. With its neat clumps of semi-evergreen leaves, it works well at the front of border. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Grow Geums in a sunny or shaded position on any well drained soil.Water regularly until fully established. Dead-head faded geum flowers regularly to encourage more blooms to be produced. Remove old foliage in autumn. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant in spring. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Geum to maintain their vigour.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
