Place Hoya carnosa in a very bright spot to encourage blooming, but avoid all day sunlight as this may scorch the leaves. Direct early morning or evening sunlight is ideal. Keep at 18-24C and avoid draughts. Allow the top half of the soil to dry out between watering, then water deeply and allow to drain thoroughly. Avoid overwatering, especially in winter. Hoya enjoys humidity such as that found in a kitchen or bathroom.
