Hebes are popular for good reason. Their neat form and fine, evergreen leaves look wonderful all year round. They bloom for a long period and their flowers are a magnet to bees and butterflies. Hebe ‘Summer Blue’ is no exception. A compact shrub with grey-green leaves and pale blue to violet flowers from June to September, this charming shrub makes an excellent choice for a shrub border or in mixed plantings. Height 60cm (24”). Spread 60cm (24”).

Grow Hebe plants in moist, well drained, light sandy soil. Avoid planting Hebes on acid soils. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade and sheltered from strong winds.

Water well after planting. Once established Hebe plants require little maintenance other than an occasional trim after flowering to maintain the shape of the plant.
