The perfect mix for cottage garden borders! This cheery blend of pink Hyacinth and Anemone blanda create a delightful spring display. Uniform planting schemes of the same colour or species can look contrived, but this charming blend brings a relaxed, informality to the garden. The upright Hyacinths rise above a carpet of daisy-like Anemone blooms. Perfect for the front of borders or filling patio containers with a splash of spring colour. Height: 20cm (8"). Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten. For outdoor displays, plant hyacinth bulbs in October and November, with the pointed end facing upwards, at a depth of approximately 10cm (4"). Choose a sunny or semi shaded position in moist, free draining soil.

For an attractive indoor display, plant Hyacinths in containers of bulb fibre or potting compost with the tip of the bulb just visible above the soil surface. Position them in a cool garage or other well ventilated, dark position at a maximum temperature of 7°C for around 6 weeks. Only water bulbs when necessary to keep the compost moist. When the growing shoots reach a height of 3cm (1") move the containers to a cool bright position indoors.

Water container-grown hyacinths with care. Avoid over wetting the compost or allowing it to dry out. After flowering, indoor displays can be planted out doors where they will bloom the following spring.
