Inula orientalis is a perfect plant for vibrant garden borders. It has bright orange daisy-like flowers, that are made up of many thin petals, which emerge from woolly buds. It is a hardy perennial that will flower year after year, and forms a clump of upright stems. It is a great space filler in mixed borders. Inula orientalis thrives in full sun and partial shade with well drained soil. They will attract bumble bees to your garden. Height: 90cm (36”). Spread: 60cm (24”).

Inula plants should be planted in fertile, moist but well drained soil. Choose a position in full sun.

Cut back the faded blooms after flowering. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Inula in autumn or spring to maintain their vigour.
