These popular houseplants will flower for up to 8 weeks, with rosettes of succulent green leaves below a neat dome of rose-bud like blooms. Native to arid regions of Madagascar, this flaming katy is low maintenance and requires little watering. Height and spread: 20-30cm (8-12in).

Kalanchoe is an adaptable plant, growing happily in average room temperatures of 18C (65F) - 24C (75F). A bright sunny windowsill is ideal, although scorching summer sun should be avoided.

Kalanchoe is a succulent, storing water in its fleshy foliage. Too much water can cause the plant to rot, so it is advisable to allow the soil to dry out somewhat between watering. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
