Whether you’re trying to inspire your kids to get into gardening or revive waning interest, Kids Gardening Collection is bound to spark their enthusiasm. These jumbo plug plants offer quick and easy results and a feast of flavours and recipe ideas which kids can proudly show off as their very own home-grown produce.

Kids Gardening Collection comprises the following varieties:

Mentha x piperita ‘Chocolate’ (Chocolate Mint) – A dark leaved mint with an ‘After Eights’ aroma. Dip the leaves in chocolate and cool them in the fridge before serving with icecream!
Artemisia abrotanum var. maritima (Cola Plant) – Aromatic shrub with grey-green leaves which emit a cola and lemon scent when crushed. Height and Spread: 60cm.(24in).
Strawberry ‘Montana’ (Jam Plant) - With a compact growing habit, this strawberry blooms large bright white flowers that stand out in an otherwise green environment which are followed by the sweet berries which can be snacked on directly from the plant. Height and spread: 20cm (8").
Tomato ‘Gardeners Delight’ (Ketchup Plant) – Ever-popular, RHS award-winning cordon tomato with plentiful trusses of flavoursome, bite-sized cherry fruits that are ideal for adding to salads and sandwiches. Reliable and prolific whether grown outdoors or in the greenhouse. Height: 200cm (79"). Spread: 50cm (20").
Oregano Margherita (Pizza Plant) – The perfect herb for kids to garnish their Margherita pizzas. Perennial, ground covering Mediterranean herb with pink flowers in late summer. Height and spread: 50cm (20in).

Pot up and grow on these jumbo plugs in frost free conditions before planting out after all risk of frost has passed. See individual varieties for specific growing instructions.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £7.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

Large items may incur a higher delivery charge - this will be displayed in your shopping basket.

While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time.
