Red Hot Pokers are reliable and easy to grow. Kniphofia uvaria is a particularly tall species, making a grand statement at the back of borders! The strappy foliage forms a dense clump, with upright stems emerging in summer, topped with glowing blooms. The orange buds turn to gold as they open creating a spectacular two-tone effect. This hardy perennial is low maintenance, coping well in hot sunny positions – perfect for the gravel garden or those challenging dry borders. Height: 120cm (48"). Spread: 60cm (24").
