Lettuce 'Webbs Wonderful' (Iceberg/Crisphead) (Seeds)

• Sow outdoors March to June. Prepare seed bed by raking to a fine tilth, sow thinly, 12mm (1/2in) deep, in drills 38cm (15in) apart. Water the ground regularly, especially during dry periods.
• Thin-out seedlings when they are large enough to handle, to 30cm (12in) apart. Continue to water during dry spells.
• Harvest as and when required, from June to October, when the head feels firm when gently pressed.
• Cut heads can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
• Lettuce leaves, particularly the outer leaves, are a good source of beta-carotene and vitamin A.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £7.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

Large items may incur a higher delivery charge - this will be displayed in your shopping basket.
