Alongside Hollyhocks and Foxgloves, Lupins are a garden plant that gives height and colour to garden borders, and is a popular option for gardeners aiming to create a cottage garden style border. The unique feature of the Lupin is that the flowers grow closely together, creating flower spikes of colour. Lupin 'Tutti Frutti' produces a range of double toned flower spikes in colours such as purple, yellow, lilac and pink, that grow to up to 1 metre high. They like a sunny position and will flower from June to July. Height: 100cm (40"). Spread: 50cm (20"). Supplied as large plug plants.

Caution: Harmful if eaten.

Feed and water regularly until plants are established. Cut back faded flower spikes to encourage a second flush to be produced. In autumn, remove any yellowing foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant.
Gradually acclimatise Lupins to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting out in a sunny or semi shaded position in moist, well drained soil.
