Lythrum is a versatile plant that will happily grow in any fertile, moist soil in full sun.
Feed and water Loosestrife plants regularly until fully established. Remove faded flower heads before they set seed if seedlings are not required. Cut back old foliage in late autumn. Overcrowded clumps of Lythrum can be lifted and divided in spring.
