Delivery Information View Product DescriptionSorry this item is unavailable, why not try these products insteadDescription More Info DeliveryA cross between Agave and Manfreda, Mangaves boast the same sculptural form as Agaves but are hardier and faster growing – and their tiny, comb-like spines are much less vicious! This elegant succulent’s pointed, fleshy leaves are held in tight rosettes and make fabulous pot specimens for a sunny patio. In Mangave ‘Lavender Lady’ the centre of the rosette is a smoky purple scattered with burgundy flecks, forming a two-toned effect with the surrounding dark green leaves. Height: 25cm (10in). Spread: 40cm (16in).
Similar to Echeveria, Mangaves are drought-tolerant and low maintenance and can be kept outdoors all year in areas with mild winters. Otherwise, they need to be brought into a frost-free greenhouse or conservatory for overwintering.

Plug plants are ideal for planting directly into flower pouches and hanging baskets. For containers and window boxes, pot up plugs and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Water sparingly until plugs are fully rooted into pots and pouches. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days prior to transplanting them into their final containers.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
