Transport yourself to the bazaars of Marrakech with your own home-grown Moroccan mint tea! Rather than the harsher peppermint, the recipe requires the gentle flavour of a spearmint. Mint 'Marokko' (Mentha spicata) is a compact and hardy spearmint which is specifically for the purpose. Brew some gunpowder tea, then add sugar and fresh leaves of Mint 'Marokko' directly to the teapot. Serve your tea with a flourish by pouring it from height, making plenty of bubbles just like the Moroccans do! Height & Spread: 60cm (23”).

Pot up plug plants and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions until plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting out. Mint is an invasive plant in borders and so is best suited to container growing. It enjoys part shade and plenty of moisture. Harvest leaves regularly to promote the production of new young leaves.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
