Enjoy the bright vibrant, rainbow colours of Primrose 'Husky Mixed' and the fresh colours and glorious scent of Polyanthus 'Most Scented Mixed' flowers together. Guaranteed to brighten the gloomiest of winter days - even through cold, wet and snow! The delicately fragranced blooms of Primrose 'Husky Mixed' burst open in a frenzy of colour that will see you through until late spring. We've sniffed all the polyanthus we could find to be able to make up this exclusive mix for you! Each fresh colour has a lovely, strong fragrance, to bring you a true scent of spring. From late winter, these vigorous perennials produce plenty of flowers on short, stocky stems, above neat rosettes of lush foliage. Once established in beds, borders and containers, these easy to grow perennials will virtually look after themselves. Height and spread: 25cm (8").

Garden Ready Plants - Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.

Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Try the sweet tasting petals on top of salads or even pancakes, crystallise them for use as cake decorations too. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Take care not to over-water during the winter months as cold, wet conditions may cause the plants to rot. Deadhead faded primrose flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide primroses in overcrowded clumps during spring to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.
Pot up primrose plug plants and grow them on in cool, bright, frost free conditions, watering sparingly until they are fully rooted into their pots. When primrose plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days prior to transplanting them to their final positions outdoors. Plant primroses in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in borders, beds, and containers. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade.
