Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
Nepeta nervosa 'Blue Moon' makes a pretty Catmint for the front of sunny borders. This compact variety stays neat and tidy throughout the summer, producing a profusion of flower stems tipped with clusters of tiny blue flowers. Like all Catmints the foliage is aromatic and highly apppealing to cats. The flowers provide a rich source of nectar making this a useful choice for attracting pollinating insects to the garden. Plant it in sunny perennial borders, wildlife areas and cottage gardens for a reliable display year after year. Height and spread: 40cm (16").

Pot up Nepeta plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Grow Catmint plants outdoors in any well drained garden soil in full sun or semi shade.
Water regularly until Catmint plants are fully established. Cut back individual flower stems as they fade to encourage a second flush of Catmint flowers to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Nepeta plants in spring.
