Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

Norway Spruce is a fast-growing, dense conifer that is ideal for evergreen hedging. It is a familiar conifer, being the most common Christmas tree species in the UK! Glossy, dark-green needles are accompanied by long, pendulous light brown cones in summer and autumn. Low maintenance and easy to grow, Norway Spruce is extremely tough, thriving in even the most exposed locations and being a good choice in a shelterbelt or as a windbreak. It has value to UK wildlife, particularly to red squirrels, who eat the cones. Suitable for acidic or neutral soils. Height: 3000cm (1181in). Spread: 900cm (360in).
