Add a touch of the tropics to your garden with this vibrant Oleander collection! The abundance of sweetly fragrant blooms are borne atop stems of leathery, dark green, lance-shaped leaves. With a compact habit, these Nerium plants are ideal for growing in patio containers, as a specimen plant in garden borders or in coastal gardens, where they withstands salt spray well. Despite Oleander’s subtropical origins, these fantastic varieties are hardy down to -6°C (21°F)! In particularly cold areas grow Oleander in containers which can be moved to a protected position during the winter months. Please take care when handling Oleander as contact with the foliage may irritate the skin. Oleander is toxic if eaten. Height: 1.5m (5'). Spread: 1m (3'). Supplied in 14cm pots.

  • Collection comprises:
  • Oleander 'Pink' - Light pink flowers with splashes of cerise.
  • Oleander 'White' - Brilliant white flowers.
  • Oleander 'Red' - Vibrant, rich red flowers.

Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, toxic if eaten. Pot up Oleander plants and grow them on in a cool, bright position until large enough to plant outside. When they are well grown, acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions for 7 to 10 days before planting out in their final positions. Plant Nerium oleander in a sheltered spot in fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun. Oleander plants are hardy down to -6°C (21°F). In particularly cold areas they are best grown in a patio container that can be moved to a sheltered position over winter.
Lightly prune Oleander shrubs in late spring to remove any shoots that spoil the shape of the plant. Reduce the stems to fit the available space, and remove any damaged, crossing or wayward stems. If necessary, Oleander plants will tolerate occasional hard regenerative pruning. Deadhead faded Oleander flowers regularly to prolong their display. Take care to wear gloves and long sleeves when pruning Oleander as contact with the foliage and sap may irritate the skin.
