Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten. Plant Ornithogalum bulbs in containers or borders in spring. Plant bulbs at a depth of 10cm (4"), in well drained soil or loam based compost such as John Innes No.2, in full sun. Water well to settle the soil. In frost prone areas they can be grown in cool greenhouses or conservatories.Feed monthly and water freely throughout the growing season. Move containers of Chincherinchee to a frost free position for the winter. Allow the compost to dry out a little during this period while the bulbs are dormant. When bulbs start into growth again, resume feeding and watering. Border-grown bulbs can be lifted, cleaned and stored over winter for replanting the following spring.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
