Description How to Grow Delivery Reviews
Super reliable, with clear, pattern-free flowers, in a mix of bright colours. These will flower through winter or summer and are excellent for bedding or pots. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 23cm (9").

Culinary information: Some parts of these flowers are edible. The crystallised petals are great decorations for cakes and cookies, or they can be added straight to green salads for an injection of colour. For more details about edible flowers click here.

  • Sow seed on the surface of good free draining, damp seed compost and apply a fine sprinkling of vermiculite.
  • Place container inside a propagator or seal inside a polythene bag and keep at 15-20°C (59-68F) until after germination which usually takes 10-15 days. Do not exclude daylight as this helps germination.
  • Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out 15cm (6in) apart.
  • Overwinter September sowings in a coldframe or cool greenhouse and plant out the following spring.
