Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
Peach ‘Garden Lady’ is a slow growing variety which does not need a pollinating partner as it is self-fertile. It is perfect for a patio fruit tree for a smaller garden. It is a genetic dwarf which will remain under 2m (78”) when it reaches maturity, no matter the rootstock which means there is no pruning needed. In the spring stunning pink flowers begin to cover the branches, which is then followed by the juicy, delicious fruits with its dark yellow flash and blush pink skins. This variety is a freestone which means the flesh of the fruit does not cling to the seed pit. It is early to crop which means if you are lucky you may even get a to pick the fruit after the first year or two after planting. Harvest the fruits in mid- August. As it is compact, they are ideal for containers as they can then be moved around to avoid the frost and protect the spring blooms.
