This vigorous, variety of trailing petunia has long trailing stems, reaching up to 90cm (35"); ideal for creating a cascade of colour from hanging baskets, flower pouches® and containers. For a less formal display, let Petunia Trailing 'Blue Vein' tumble over walls in a wave of trumpet shaped blooms. Trails to: 90cm (35").

Our premium jumbo plug plants are cutting raised varieties. These means they're bred from the very best parent plants so will inherit the same characteristics.

Pot up petunia plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well drained soil, in full sun.

Feed and water petunia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of petunia flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.
