Description How to Grow More Info Delivery

This dainty alpine phlox forms soft cushiony mounds of small, needle-like leaves. In late spring and early summer, it is smothered in masses of five-petalled flowers in pale shades of white and pinkish lilac. Makes a graceful perennial to tumble from containers, froth over path edges and scramble over rock gardens in sun or light shade. Height: 10cm (4in). Spread: 40cm (16in).

1 x 1 Litre Potted Plant (KA6017)

Plant Creeping Phlox into fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Feed with a liquid fertiliser during the growing season and lightly trim plants back after flowering to maintain a neat and compact shape. Clumps can be lifted and divided in autumn.
Once established, Phlox douglasii is reasonably drought tolerant and requires little attention, except occasional watering during particularly dry periods.
