Phlox paniculata 'Olympic' certainly won’t fade into the background. The variegated foliage makes this hardy perennial a real eye-catcher, even before the frasgrant mauve blooms appear. This reliable perennial is an herbaceous border essential, bringing colour and perfume to the garden over a long period. It makes a lovely cut flower for a vase indoors where it will fill the room with its sweet scent. The nectar-rich blooms are also loved by pollinating insects, making this a good choice for wildlife areas too. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Grow phlox plants in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
Feed and water regularly, particularly during dry periods, until young phlox plants are fully established. After flowering, lightly shear the stems to encourage lots of fresh new growth.
