Plant tubers in pots during spring, at a depth of 10cm. Grow them on in a warm, frost free position. When plants are well grown, and all risk of frost has past, transplant Polianthes into their final positions in borders or containers. Choose a sunny position in moist, free draining soil. Tubers may also be planted directly into borders.Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. With the first autumn frosts, remove tubers from their positions and store over winter in peat or sand, in a cool but frost free position. Replant tubers of Polianthes tuberosa the following spring.Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
