Potentilla fruticosa 'Mount Everest' as the name suggests is a shrub that is covered with white flowers, like snow on a mountain. Shrubby Cinquefoils are native to the Northern Hemisphere, often growing at high altitude in mountainous regions. The pretty flowers have five white rounded petals with soft yellow centres. This Shrubby Cinquefoil flowers from May until September and is very drought resistant and low maintenance. It looks great planted en masse, or amongst other white flowered plants. It is ideal for garden borders, rockeries and will attract bees and butterflies to your garden. Height and spread: 1m (39").

1 x 3.6 litre potted potentilla plant (68156)
2 potentilla plants in 3.5 litre pots (V63389P)

Plant Potentilla in a sunny site on any free draining soil. On clay soil, add plenty of coarse grit or sharp sand to improve drainage.
Feed and water plants regularly throughout the growing season. In autumn, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base plants. Prune Potentilla stems back to within 3cm (1") of the previous year’s growth in spring to promote bushy growth and a multitude of flowers the following year.
