Primrose 'Arizona Bicolor' makes a wondrous display that will bring a traditional cottage garden feel to the garden each spring. Perfect for filling window boxes and patio pots, or edging perennial borders and pathways for a long lasting splash of colour. Pot up primula plants and grow them on in bright, frost-free conditions, watering sparingly until they are fully rooted in. When they are well grown, acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days, prior to planting out in their final positions in borders and containers. Choose a semi-shaded position on rich, fertile, moist, well drained soil. Candelabra primula will also thrive in a peaty, acid soil and can also tolerate a position in full sun if the soil remains reliably moist.

During the winter, avoid over-watering container grown plants as this may cause the plants to rot in cold conditions. Deadhead faded primrose flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Divide over-crowded clumps of primroses from late autumn to early spring.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on.
