Primrose 'Blackberry Crush' is an outstanding primrose, with an eye-catching trio of colours. The yellow centres of the flowers are surrounded by white that contrasts with the deep burgundy tips of the petals. Add to this the slender white margins, and you have a wonderfully colourful plant for mixed spring containers and borders. Height and spread: 20cm (8"). Supplied as plug tray plants.

Flowering Months
Take care not to over-water during the winter months as cold, wet conditions may cause the plants to rot. Deadhead faded primrose flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide primroses in overcrowded clumps during spring to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.
Pot up primrose plug plants and grow them on in cool, bright, frost free conditions, watering sparingly until they are fully rooted into their pots. When primrose plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days prior to transplanting them to their final positions outdoors. Plant primroses in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in borders, beds, and containers. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade.
