Description How to Grow More Info Delivery
This unusual perennial produces a colourful mix of spotted and plain starry shaped blooms in summer. Each individual flower lasts for only a day but is replaced by more and more blooms as the season progresses. A remarkably pretty plant that happily tolerates heat and drought. Pardancanda also makes a vibrant cut flower for brightening vases indoors. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 30cm (12"). Bareroot plants supplied.

Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season, but do not allow Pardancanda to become waterlogged. In autumn, remove the old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted compost to the base of the plant.
Plant Pardancanda bareroots at the earliest opportunity. Should soil conditions prevent planting directly into borders (if soil is frozen or waterlogged), bareroots should be potted up, watered sparingly and grown on in a cool position for planting out at a later date. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position in well drained soil. Pardancanda plants are reasonably drought tolerant and survive well in drier soils. However they will appreciate some well rotted manure or garden compost worked into the soil prior to planting. Dig a hole wide enough to accommodate the bareroot with its roots spread out and deep enough that the crown of the plant is just a few cm below soil level. Backfill the hole with soil and firm the plant in gently. Water well to settle the soil.
