A beautiful double flowered variety, this delightful Rhodohypoxis 'Lilly Jean' will grace your borders, pots and planters year after year. A hardy perennial that has dainty pink flowers in early summer and interesting, narrow grey-green foliage during the rest of the growing season. Ideal for adding to rockery planting, this easy to grow plant will look great planted in low drifts too! Height: 8cm (3in). Spread: 15cm (6in).

Pot up Rhodohypoxis plug plants and grow them on for transplanting to their final positions later on. When plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days. Plant Rhodohypoxis plants in containers and troughs, or in free draining rock gardens and borders in full sun. They prefer a neutral to acid soil. Add grit to the soil if necessary to improve drainage.

Feed and water rose lily grass regularly while in active growth. During winter, protect Rhodohypoxis from excessive winter rain as cold wet soils may cause the plant to rot. Container-grown specimens can be brought into a cold greenhouse over winter and the compost kept just moist.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
