This fantastic rose collection brings together four of our best rose varieties to provide you with superb quality colour and fragrance for many months of the year. Supplied as bare root plants.
  • The collection comprises:
  • Rose 'Eye of the Tiger' - Glorious semi-double, yellow blooms with a daub of red at their centre cover this modern rose throughout the summer. Combining the nature of wild roses with modern disease resistance and stronger vigour, this unusual shrub rose can also be trained onto short supports in a container and grown into a spectacular 'mini' patio climber. Height and spread: 90cm (36in).
  • Rose 'Bright as a Button' - A real 'must-have' rose that flowers repeatedly from May to October, providing stunning scented colour for months on end. Dense glossy green foliage makes this magnificent persica rose the perfect choice for filling bare spots in garden borders. Cut the wonderfully perfumed blooms for flower arrangements and new pink flowers will just keep on coming, revealing rich burgundy and gold centres as they open. Strong disease resistance is an added bonus. Height: 90cm (35"). Spread: 90cm (35").
  • Rose 'For Your Eyes Only' - Rose of the Year 2015. Here's the perfect rose for ground cover and container growing – its short height, compact growth habit and subtle scent make it ideal for pots on the patio where you can fully enjoy the colour and perfume. Early to flower, then continually blooming right through summer and into autumn, the unique open flowers with their contrasting central colouring of Rose 'For Your Eyes Only' are truly stunning. Height: 90cm (35"). Spread: 90cm (35").
  • Rose 'Sunny Skies' - Here's a rose to brighten even the dullest day! Golden yellow blooms turn to soft yellow on this stylish scented rose. Each bloom averages 10cm (4in) across, with up to 30 petals creating an exceptional fragrance. 'Sunny Skies' is a low-maintenance variety producing a fabulous summer display with minimal effort thanks to its strong disease resistance and vigorous, yet restrained growth. Simply cut faded blooms once they finish in mid-summer and your rose will produce a second flush of flowers in late summer, continuing into autumn. Height 120cm (48in. Spread: 60cm (24").

Culinary note: Some parts of the flowers in this collection are edible. Rosehips and petals can be used in making syrups and the petals will add flavour to cold drinks or fruit dishes. For more details about edible flowers, click here.

Flowering Months
Feed and water roses regularly. Deadhead faded flowers. In autumn apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant. In winter, begin pruning roses by removing dead and diseased wood, and any rubbing or damaged branches. Then reduce the stems to 20cm (8”) above ground level. Side shoots should be reduced to two buds.

Plant bareroot roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. If planting is not possible then 'heel them in' by covering the roots with soil until conditions allow them to be planted in their permanent positions.

When growing roses, choose a position in fertile well drained soil in full sun. Roses are greedy plants so add a small handful of granular fertiliser and mix some well rotted manure or compost to the soil. Dig a hole of sufficient width and depth to comfortably accommodate the bareroot plant. Position the plant in the hole so that the base of the stems sits just below soil level. Backfill the soil around the roots of the plant, firm in, and water well.
