Sempervivum 'Arctic White'

Covered in a fine white ‘cobwebs’ throughout the growing season, Sempervivum ‘Artic White’ looks like a miniature frosted sculpture. This hardy sempervivum gradually develops into a tightly packed mound of multiple rosettes forming a silvery cushion. From May to July, it produces clusters of starry pink flowers.

Sempervivum ‘Artic White’ makes a trendy showpiece for a terracotta pot or trough. Alternatively, tuck it into paving cracks, rock or wall crevices or use it on a ‘living roof’. It can also be grown on a sunny windowsill indoors as a houseplant. Sempervivums are perfect for collecting as plants readily produce babies. They are ideal for novice or busy gardeners who forget to water their plants, whilst children will love planting them into their 'mini-gardens'. 

Low maintenance, drought-tolerant and hardy down to -20C, Sempervivum ‘Artic White’ is happy to be grown outdoors providing it has excellent drainage. Height: 10cm (4in). Spread: 15cm (6in).
