A pillar of beauty! Our solar tower of Thunbergia and Ipomoea make a perfect partnership of leafy cover and citrus blooms. The dark foliage of Ipomoea provides a showy contrast to the varied colours of Thunbergia blooms. When trained onto an obelisk or a pergola, these vigorous annual climbers make a head-turning focal point. A colourful and quick-growing feature for borders, beds and containers. Height: 180cm (71"). Spread: 40cm (16").

Pot up plugs and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise planyts to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting outdoors in their final positions. Plant out in any fertile, moist, well drained soil. Choose a sheltered position in full sun or semi shade. Alternatively plant in patio containers using a good quality compost. Provide a support for their twining stems such as an obelisk or trellis.
Feed and water regularly, especially when grown in a conservatory. Train the stems onto supports as they grow.
