This allows for a particularly long cropping period! Sown in spring, this heat treated variety provides crunchy spring onions throughout summer and autumn. A late sowing in September will overwinter to provide an early crop in May. An excellent choice for maximising yields from your vegetable plot. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 5cm (2").

Spring onions will grow in any good fertile soil provided it is welt drained. Sow seeds from late winter to late summer at 3 weekly intervals. For an early spring crop sow seeds in late summer and overwinter. Sow thinly 6mm (¼in) deep in drills 15cm (6in) apart.No thinning is required. Harvesting can usually start 6-8 weeks after sowing.
