Perfect for busy households! Our garden ready plants have a strong, developed root system and healthy top growth so they can be planted straight into your borders, baskets and patio containers. Delivery is during September and October, when the weather is ideally suited for these plants to really establish in your garden, before the winter sets in!

Let the intoxicating fragrance of summer stocks fill your beds, borders and containers from April through to June. Specially chosen for their colourful blooms and sweet, spicy fragrance, Stocks ‘Most Scented’ are perfect for the front of borders and containers. Gillyflowers are fabulous hardy biennials, and a firm ‘cottage garden favourite’ that make long lasting cut flowers too. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 25cm (10"). Supplied as large garden-ready plug plants.

Culinary information: Flowers are usually added raw to salads or as a garnish to desserts, they can also be candied. Their flavour is perfumed. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Gradually acclimatise Stocks to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting in their final positions. Grow Stock plants in any well drained soil in full sun.
Feed and water regularly. Deadhead faded Stock flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £4.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £6.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.
