This collection includes five of the most popular and colourful summer-flowering bulbs. Perfect for filling borders and containers with a variety of blooms in all shapes and sizes. Summer bulbs are ideal for filling gaps in established beds, cretaing a bold display that will return year after year. Supplied as bulbs.

Summer-flowering Bulbs Colletion comprises:

  • Allium moly (40 bulbs) - A vigorous little Allium bearing dense clusters of star-shaped, golden yellow flowers from late spring. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 5cm (2").
  • Oriental Lily (3 bulbs) - Prized for their large, trumpet shaped flowers and powerful fragrance. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 30cm (12").
  • Crocosmia ‘Fire King’ (7 bulbs) - From mid-summer, slender stems rise above the foliage tipped with sprays of fiery orange-red blooms. Better behaved than other varieties, with a compact, dwarf habit. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 30cm (12").
  • Gladioli Mix (8 bulbs) - The hardiest gladioli available! These tough little sword lilies are excellent for planting in groups where they will form large clumps over time. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 15cm (6").
  • Oxalis tetraphylla 'Iron Cross' (42 bulbs) - This ornamental Shamrock is as versatile as it is pretty. From early summer, the distinctive foliage is paired with rosy pink, tubular flowers. Height and spread: 15cm (6").
Flowering Months

100 mixed bulbs (KB9345)

Plant summer flowering bulbs in free draining soil in a sheltered, sunny position. Plant the bulbs at a depth of approximately 3 times their own height.
After flowering, allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in late summer.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £7.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

Large items may incur a higher delivery charge - this will be displayed in your shopping basket.
