Caution: Harmful if eaten.
  • Soak seeds overnight in warm water before sowing 1cm (1/2in) deep, 3 seeds per 7.5cm (3in) pot, in free draining, damp, compost.
  • Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and keep at 20-25°C (68-77F) until after germination which takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude daylight as this helps germination.
  • Mid-spring sowings can be sown outdoors, 2.5cm (1in) deep, in drills 7.5cm (3in) apart.
  • Overwinter January sown plants in a cool greenhouse or coldframe before planting out in the warmer conditions of midlate spring 15cm (6in) apart. Remove faded flowers to encourage further blooms.

Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
