Sweet William 'Festival Mixed' have a lovely scent, and provide garden colour in late autumn and right through to spring, when many other flowering plants are past their best. The petals are bi-coloured, in a mix of shades of white, pink, purple, and red and have serated edges. Sweet Williams are very easy to maintain, and thrive in full sun. Suitable for window boxes, garden borders and planters. Height and spread: 25cm (10").

Culinary information: Use the clove like tasting petals for adding to cakes, either for flavour or decorating, suitable for soups, salads and sauces too. For more details about edible flowers click here.

When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise Sweet William plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant Sweet Williams in beds and borders in any well drained soil in full sun.

Feed and water Sweet William plants regularly until they are fully established. Deadhead faded Sweet William flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced throughout the summer.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
